An idea was born... sort of.
MicroCreatives was born sometime during the heady years when business process outsourcing was still taking root in the tropical islands of the Philippines. In the midst of the concrete jungle, the secretive, elite group of creative monsters banded themselves first as the Creative Services Group, doing the bidding, i.e. internal graphic design needs, of MicroSourcing.
Headed by Mikaela Arce, a small team made up of a graphic designer, a web developer, a copywriter, a Flash animator, and a link-builder began taking logo design projects from clients based in the United States and in Europe. The logo design projects quickly morphed into printed collateral design projects, which mutated further into long-term contract projects for multinational clients, all taken care of by one whole team called CSG.
Metamorphosis became inevitable for the highly-skilled individuals that had formed CSG. From being ordinary Flash animators, developers, graphic designers, and writers, these point-and-pixel assassins of the virtual world shed their human containers to reveal their true selves -- robotic humanoids, animal spirit guides, talking fruits, squarish monsters, and a kid donning a dragon kigurumi -- all creative monsters filling the world with their unique talents.
